"Their is always a before story to every messed up person," Monatoned a pinkett as she recalled her Mama's memory, "and mine ended with a twist, but it all started off with a naive dream of an incident child."
Her team froze at her odd words; Uchiha Sasuke seemed to rethink his earlier comment about her being a monster. Maybe, just maybe, their was hope for the dead girl and so they listened.
"I became a ninja to find someone, but I continued to be a ninja to kill someone. The harsh truth of life is, people always stray from the path they first choose."
Then she stopped talking.
"What!" Naruto screamed in outrage, "That's it Sakura-san! If you're going to start a story you need to finish it! Believe it!"
The pinkett's gaze traveled to the sky, "But that's not reality Naruto. No human, no matter how perfect, ever finishes what they start-- just like her."
