"OK. Let's get the awkward part over with. I'm a vampire. Now, before you go all "Oh my gosh! Lucky!" I just want to say…No. I am not lucky! I'm a dead, creature of the night that people either find funny or attractive. So when vampires fang-up, people don't run. They get eaten. Fun, right?"  

Alexander "Alex" VonBlutsauger is a vampire, but with a soul. He's constantly torn between his two halves: the undead and the living. But that's not enough. His soul has a soulmate named Riley. His condition makes it even harder for him. For most teens, it's a problem with asking their crush out. For Alex, that's not an option. What if he bites her? He won't condemn her to the torture he goes through every day. But love doesn't listen to reason.

This story was inspired by "Angel" and exists in that universe, along with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". I make references to that world because it exists in that universe. Other than that, all the characters and the plot is mine.  I wrote this story a while ago (at least a year's time) as an essay for school and added the dialogue on to make it a story. This is kinda cheesy because I wrote it so long ago, my writing is better now. I hope you like it!All Rights Reserved

Everything about her is beautiful to him, which she seems to find impossible, and he doesn't know what to do because he's never felt anything before in his life and that, that is what scares them both the most. How can one's taste be so addictive, so powerful? Why am I so drawn to her? I've never felt this way about anything at all in my whole entire life. Ever. Nothing. I feel nothing. I've always felt nothing. So why does she make me feel something? I'm drawn to her, and I cannot stop. And I will not stop at any cost. I will get this girl because she is mine and she always will be. She just doesn't know it yet. I am a curse. People always leave me in death, but maybe she is my cure.

This is going to be a mess. Inspired by things such as: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Supernatural, John Dies at the End, Constantine, Odd Thomas, Mean Girls, From Dusk Till Dawn, and Deadpool WARNING: The Narrator in this book (Ace) is an egotistical, insensitive, and selfish person. Even the more serious parts will have some comedic input from her and she can tend to be a bit abrasive or offensive. This is, after all, an anti-hero's point of view. This book contains characters of different ethnic backgrounds, races, and sexual orientations. A few will have mental and/or social disorders. So, keep an open mind.
