When the attack started, she and Evan were separated, and Evelyn made her way to safety with some of her friends. Now Evelyn is in charge of a group of survivors and keeps getting mysterious memories she doesn't remember having, and on top of it all, her brother is missing. Evelyn must risk everything she has worked to gain in the apocalypse to find her brother, discover the truth about her strange dreams, and do her best to survive.

While saving her they notice one of the men is missing part of his face. Will they be able to make it to safety, or will they become one of the dead. Throw on top of it that one of them seems to be getting visions of the future and they learn a startling piece of information about how the dead have come back to life.
