Would you survive?

The apocalypse is a person's worst nightmare or even their wildest dreams. The world is a dangerous place and human nature is even more unpredictable. Do you think you could survive a world where technology stopped for no reason? Where the laws of chemistry no longer followed it's own rules?

Follow the multiple characters and stories as they traverse the dangers of the south, specifically Georgia. Read closely as their lives become fleshed out and so do their sorrows, their laughs, their happiness, and even their thoughts and beliefs. A change is coming whether they like it or not, will they become a casualty to the Cataclysm or leave behind a legacy to be remembered for the ages.

The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

2087's Cure - Draft

1 part Complete

-This is only a rough draft of my story I am currently working on the final draft so it will be much different in the final draft- After the events of the toxic woman, Gloria Ramirez, more and more people became "toxic", but as time went on and the earth began to fail due to global warming and pollution, the toxic virus began to change as well. No one really knows when it happened, but around the age of 25 and no later than 35, people began to become toxic, as if it was embedded into the entire human race's genetics. Some say this was caused by mass radiation poisoning, others say this is God's way of punishing us for our sins, but one thing we do know is that when you do become toxic, you don't just become sick and die, you become a zombie. This story follows six young adults as they discover some scary truths about themselves, and have to learn to survive on their own stuck in an abandoned city full of the one thing that can't die, because it already is dead. -This is a story I originally wrote for my English class, where we wrote stories based on real events.
