"She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! But what if she has secrets that nobody knows of? What if the only thing she can trust is her secret diary? What if slowly but surly she's dying inside? Not all girls anymore. No uniform. Meet Drake. Your classic bad-boy. He just moved to Saint Abigail high school. He is assigned partners with the quiet, calm, unnoticed Evangeline. As time progresses he finds that she isn't as happy on the inside as she is on the outside. Can he save her? Or is it too late? • • • Some rude language. Depression and cutting. All I could hear was the frantic thrumming of my heartbeat against my chest. The alarm sirens were a light humming in the background. My limbs were shaking from exhaustion, including the extra limbs protruding from my back. My breath came out rapidly but, I couldn't seem to get enough oxygen to my lungs. My eyes burned from the force of the air whipping past them. " No Razor! You can't stop, I'm right behind you. Keep going!" I heard a familiar voice say that seemed close but, distant. I could hear screaming and crying all around me. I felt soaking wet and hot at the same time, which I didn't think was possible and I could feel someone gently shaking me. "Uggggnnnnnmmm," I groaned. "She's alive! Come on kid, wake up," another man exclaimed. "Nooooooooooo," I groaned again. I felt so tired, I just wanted to go back to sleep, but whoever was shaking me wouldn't stop. The Mutation
Amari Mavis was in the military for 6 years, she suffered from PTSD and has distanced herself from society. She now currently resides in a nice secluded cabin away from the city. She started therapy a couple months after she arrived home and has continued to do so for the past two, almost three, years. Her therapist gave some suggestions to help her heal which is how she met her reliable canine companions: Flake, Bane, and Pepper. Other than her three beautiful dogs, Amari has only ever spoken to two other people; Sherry Curt and Frankie Carmen. They were her fellow comrades from the military, bonding over the experiences that come from serving your country. One day she wakes up like every other morning...or so she thought. They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. Hight 6'2. Tanned and toned body. Death's best friend in the hell hole they're in, he's as cold as she is. But shows a bit of sympathy. Well... More than her at least.
