Noel is depressed. Her dad died in a car accident when she was ten and her mom died from cancer when she was thirteen. She was moved to Louisiana to live with her overprotective and overly strict grandparents. The grandparents house is three stories. The bottom floor consisted of the kitchen, dining room, living room, guest bedroom and bathroom, the front room. The second floor consisted of the master bedroom and bathroom, laundry room, the den, and an office. The third floor was just two rooms, the first being Ella's room and connected bathroom. The other was across the hall, and locked by her grandparents. Ella was curious as to what the noises coming from that room were. Every night she heard the songs and poems being sung and spoken as though an angel were the source of the sound. She tries for a few years to get in, until she is seventeen. What ,or who, will Ella find in the mysterious room? I'd tell you more but then it would ruin the story;)

The House At The End Of Yellow Brooke Street
An eerie silence echoed through the house at the end of Yellow Brooke Street, the wind outside slammed toward the wooden walls making a whistle inside the house from the cracked windows; the front door made a thud each time it slammed toward the wall and the screams from the dead gave the house an uneasiness to it. I stood before the house, while my friends were excited to do the exact opposite of what our parents told us to; I was not. I trusted my mother when she told us to never get close to this place. "You guys ready?" Diana said with joy in her voice, I stuttered. "No.." the fear in my voice was obvious, though no one seemed to care. Dan glanced at me and chuckled. "Really? It's just a house." "It's a haunted house." I said nervously. "Maybe we should trust our parents on this, they told us that it isn't safe for a reason." "You wimp." Diana joked, she wasn't serious; it was just to get me with them and of course she knew that it would work. "It's fine if you don't want to Luna." Lucas said, at least he was cool about it. Pretty soon, Max starts hearing child laughter and a lullaby at night. She tells it to her dad, but Adam says she has to stop watching horror movies. But what they don't know is that the woman was right. The house is possessed by evil spirits. The story threatens to be retold if they're not careful.
