Arizona is not the last of her kind, she is one of many black wolves. It has been thought that the last white wolf (her sister) is more powerful but that is a mistake that soon won't be made anymore. You've probably heard the story of the white wolf but her younger sister was hated by the white wolves and so she was never mentioned to many people. Her mom and sister were the ones who looked at her like she was an omega but her dad treasured her, unfortunately, their mom, dad, and the rest of the pack died of a disease that was passed through their diet. When the last white wolf got killed, her new pack asked the elders to honor her as one of them and they said if she is the strongest she will be excepted and if she isn't in the smoke it'll show who should be excepted. The hunt was on for the powerful wolf when the great Esmeralda (white wolf) wasn't allowed to be an elder.
