Meet Bertha (Bertie) Anne Reynolds. She was just starting to transition back to her simple life in Seattle, Washington. It was going to be her and her father (and unfortunately his new girlfriend) against the world again. Or so she thought. Bertie's father was sending her to live with her aunt all the way across the country to Summerville, South Carolina. However unfair (and slightly suspicious) her father's proposal is, Bertie is forced to concede and move to the town, but promises that she won't let herself get close to anyone. She would live her senior year in complete solitude (aside from her aunt, her uncle, and the neighborhood cat, Calvin).

Bertie's plan is soon foiled after she arrives in good ol' Summerville and runs into the town’s lone “bad boy”, Collin Wilkins, who insists on getting to know the strange girl who does nothing but push him away. Finally, after a lot of Collin’s persistence, the two become close friends. But as the teens grow closer, feelings start to rise and their true selves are soon brought to light. Each teen begins to learn that the bad boy isn’t necessarily bad, and the good girl isn’t necessarily good. And now their relationship comes down to if each is willing to give up their charade (along with a few other twists and turns in the story as well).

Avery wrapped an arm around my waist to catch me before I could get out the door. He pushed me up against the door, trapping me between his body and the door. "What's wrong?" I asked innocently. His face hovered over mine, much closer than I was used to. His gaze didn't leave mine as he spoke. "It would have been different if I had told him from the start. You wanted me to lie for you. You started this. If we tell him what really happened, he would be pissed at me for lying to him." "Stormie, you got a phone call!" Mason yelled up the stairs. The closeness between Avery and me started to make my legs feel like Jell-O, and I couldn't make sense of it. Our breathing became heavier. His eyes trapped mine. "Answer him," Avery murmured. "Uh," I stammered. I cleared my throat. "Be down in a minute!" My voice came out higher than usual. My gaze still couldn't escape Avery's. My heart raced wildly as his chest rose and fell against mine. Avery's gaze flickered to my lips. What's happening? My gaze fell to his mouth, which was moving closer to mine. Stormie West is brave, kind, and young. She has a lot to learn about love, trust, lust, and heartbreak. Stormie's older brother, Mason, is brave, cocky, and a bit of an asshole. He's the wide receiver for the high school football team. Avery Prince is Mason's best friend. Avery has it all, popularity, star quarterback, and girls. What more could he want, right? #1 in Quarterback 11/10/2020 #1 in action-adventure 11/15/2020

His Ugly Girl

20 parts Complete Mature

Book 1 in the Annoyance series Note: this is my first book. Unedited. It's mostly for me to know that I can never write anything as bad as this. Now you may indulge, I advise that you laugh your way through this. "Well i say lots of words to lots of people." My face went red, "I meant to say I'm sorry for bumping into you, please don't ruin my life." He chuckled, "What do you mean?" He took my hands and rested them on his shoulders, "I mean, your Harrison Ryder." He nodded, "Yes Iam and you are an ugly girl." I scoffed, "Jerk." **************** Liberty Summers is quiet so quiet that most people haven't heard the sound of her voice, but after she meets Harrison Ryder her voice comes out and with the persona ugly girl, he quickly realises tha beautiful girl underneath the silent. Warning this book is cliché but emotional. It may cause random laughter out breaks. anger crying and the need to want more. not to mention it will make you feel sad for Liberty. The insults kill me whilst I'm writing. Cover by: @Fenu6789 #1 huggs #41 in Ugly #12 in just read it
