Okay, so Gavin is low-key one of my favorite characters in Detroit: Become human. If you're reading this though, you must like him, too, so you can't judge me. (y/n) is a detective who was transferred from Indianapolis, Indiana to Detroit, Michigan. After Officer Chris Miller decided to leave the police force, Gavin is left without a partner, so (y/n) is assigned to take Chris's place.
This book will use female pronouns for the reader. Contains spoilers for Detroit: Become Human and vine references. Rated M for heavy swearing/cursing and sexual content.

The the year 2038 everything seemed to finally be looking up for the recently torn city of Detroit, not for young (name) who couldn't speak since an accident at age six left her mute. Being mute had a lot of disadvantages, the biggest being that most humans couldn't understand sign language at her workplace in the Stratford tower, so the only friends she really had were androids. An RX800 android, Brent being her best friend Then, after a supposed terrorist bombing at the Stratford tower, she is thrown into a police investigation head first, the only person with she could really communicate was an RK800 android named Connor. Throughout the investigation, however, (name) grows a strong attachment to Connor, with him treating her like an actual equal than a strange foreigner. *Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. It's about Gavin, who works in the Detroit Police Department and one day gets an Android (classic). Together they try to escape the army and the war with Hank, Connor and many other deviants. They face a lot of problems trying to get to Canada and finding themselves.
