Emmaleigh is just a 17 year old girl in her Senior year of high school. Life is going great, even though she does not live with her mom. She lives with her aunt who is like a mom to her. But what happens when she finds out her aunt has cancer? Now that her aunt is too sick to care for her, she has to leave behind her life in Michigan and go move down to California with her mom and stepdad.
