Tom was kidnapped, separated from edd and Matt and took in by tord himself. He was forced to join the army and he found himself getting used to it.  Tord had a realization of his feeling towards Tom and got jealous when Tom found someone else.

This is a domino effect this problem leads into something way

Fret not though, more yandere is yet to come. It's just Tord's decent into villainous behavior.
