"Life itself is expecting the unexpected."

However this used saying is not true for most of us.
Going through the same boring routine everyday, one starts questioning his or her purpose in this world.

Okay. Now that sounds philosophical. But you get my point. Life is the same until something exciting happens.Which is rare unfortunately.

So there you are living the life your parents had planned out for you. Going to some college that actually accepted you, marrying some guy that apparently you fell in love with(hopefully), having kids, doing a monotonous job until you retire (or maybe until you die, whichever is sooner) and deciding your children's future like your parents did for you.

Wow. What a life! (Note the sarcasm)

This is exactly what I expected will happen to me. I mean, there was nothing special about my family or the place I grew up in, so naturally my life was pre planned by old jobless people who called themselves 'wise and experienced'. (In other words my grandaunts and granduncles)

That was until my state recieved the largest recorded rain in the country. Gone were the peacefully days of gazing outside and doing nothing.

People were running around trying to save their belongings as water swept into the houses. Children and women were sent to refugee camps as men joined hands to save as many people as they could.

And that's when I got my 'adventure'. For I who was supposed to end up in the nearest camp ended up lost, barefoot, without any belongings in the thickest part of the forest that outlined our state.
And to think I was just following the directions the so called rescuers gave.

So, here I am stuck in the middle of I-have-no-idea annoyed and hungry as hell, with no clue as to where my family is, having only some giant mosquitoes for company.
And my weirdly wired humour sense.

Hopefully enough to get me out of this sticky situation.

𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐗 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧. In a world that screams, I stand in despair, My voice drowned out, lost in the air. Chains of tradition tighten each day, I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay. Each breath I take feels heavy and torn, Every mistake a scar I've worn. I crave a sky where I can be free, Away from the walls that imprison me. For now, I sit with my heart in pain, Silent, yet screaming, again and again. Though shattered, a spark in me still survives, Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
