John is a normal kid. Kind of. {So he chooses to think.} And he thinks a lot. Like... a *lot*. About the world. About people. About things that {probably don't matter} but feel like they do. And he has this voice in his head. [He calls it Spark.] {I know what you're thinking}, but Spark isn't evil or creepy or anything. He's just... him, albeit slightly louder, slightly weirder, and way more honest. They've always talked to each other. For as long as they can remember. [It's normal. Probably.] Until Spark starts doing things John doesn't remember doing- like catching a dodgeball with zero reaction time. {Now he has questions.} Not just about Spark, but about himself. And about a stranger stranger than him that [keeps popping up.] no matter where he goes. This isn't a story about going crazy. It's about trust, [weird brain conversations], and {quiet moments}. I hope you can see that. [Sidenote: This story is currently a draft and subject to edits/rewrites.] {What?? Why?} [Because it isn't complete? Jeez, thought you would pick up on that...] {Sorry, should've thought of that.} [Should we be breaking the fourth wall like this?] {Meh. It doesn't really matter; it's just a book description.} [And should we be doing all of this in the book description-?] {...fair point.}
