"Sirens: the cruelest creature in the whole ocean. If a heartbreak isn't enough, imagine losing your memory and being stuck in the ocean forever. Not like they intended to do that, it's the only way to have your life back. Anyways, isn't it ironic for a siren to switch lives with a human is through a kiss?
A person with a broken heart should be cared for and is not something to play around with. Rules change in the ocean, heartbroken people are what sirens strive for. Most of the time it doesn't matter because at one point, they were heart broken.
The gods above must've took a pity on us. Our painful feelings leave us, creating a clueless monster with no pain. The poor siren has no memory of their past life except for a certain hobby. It's not the worst thing; sirens get another try when they find another heartbroken fellow.
Your opinion of us doesn't matter in the end. We all want one thing: a happy ending"

I wanted to fall, the blue rushed towards me like a welcome embrace as I passed through the barrier. And suddenly, silence. No, not silence. Music. The ocean wrapped around me, chasing away the demons. Eliminating all the worries of the world. Until just me, and the sea remained. All the weight of the world was carried away on the tide as I sank into the blue. The rising sun filtered down through the water like a rainbow after rain. Now most people would be worried right now. Realising they're out of breath and dying. But it's part of the reason I keep to myself, let people think I'm not normal. Because I'm not normal. I'm just even more not normal than they fathomed. -------------- Completed! But slowly editing Thank you for reading! If you like it please remember to vote and comment! 2 parts Complete

A two part one-shot fanfiction about Odypoli siren aus After nearly escaping death from a cyclops, Odysseus' crew resume their plan to return to Ithaca but on the way back they come into contact with some sirens. As Polites offers to speak to one of them, he fails to realize until it is too late that the siren would disguise herself as none other but the one he loves the most, his friend since childhood, the captain of the ship, Odysseus of Ithaca himself. "But this was better than the sun. It was his sun. His star. He was his light." And Polites falls onto the floor. Suddenly he's no longer the light and warmth that surrounds Odysseus. "Goodbye Polites." Nightmares follow. Even when awake. Even after death. "Every freckle peppered on should have been perfectly aligned in the constellation of his beauty."
