But when a horrible traumatic experience awakens something deep within her, leading to the death of a volunteer worker at the shelter. She soon realizes that Mizzy is far from imaginary. 

Walk side by side with Rai, diving into her life and circumstances as she develops into a being of unimaginable power and strength in a world where a shape shifting society lives among modern day Americans.
