Depressed David is a concept I hope gets explored in the show. But for now, I must imagine it and share it with you all through text instead. Enjoy these short stories all about a depressed David. Each chapter is a new story because I can't commit long enough to write one long story.

Thank you. Max never wanted to admit it, but he liked Camp Campbell. He liked it way more than home. When the time comes to go home, there's a small void in Max's heart he's unable to fill. Oddly enough, that void is David shaped. When Max's home life takes a turn of events that cause Max to rely on David for help, David is suddenly back into Max's everyday life. The dust has settled after Daniel, and things have returned to a sense of semi-normalcy. Then David begins to act strange. He's hiding things, and there's someone on his phone he just can't seem to stop talking to. David has a secret to keep, and Max is determined to pry it out of him. What he finds, though, is worse than anything he could have possibly imagined. He falls into a spiral of paranoia. Surrounded by ghosts of the past, enemies at every turn, and the realization that he can't trust anyone, Max finds that David is only one side of a double-edged sword.
