A Murder Mystery......in a Strip Club?

Yorktown's ladies and gents

Everyone was doing their job, well those who had their shift. Some males and females were either stripping, waitering, or taking a break from their shift. Or also could be getting ready to go home. That's what Miss Sophie Smith; also known as peaches, was doing. She was in her bath robe, sitting at her vanity; located in the girls dressing room, taking off her earrings. As she put them down someone walked behind her, she turned to face the figure.
"Excuse me, but you're not supposed to be in here."
"Don't worry ma'am, I'll be out of your hair soon." The mysterious man said before he raised his knife. Suddenly, there was a blood curdling scream of pain and torment.
The man fled the scene before anyone else can see him. But he did leave somethings.
The manager rushed in and called the police right away.

"Who did this? And why?"

Were everyone's questions.
As the officers were investigating, one decided to make a phone call.
