Eighteen years later, and Jake Springall is getting out of prison. Archie Springall, the son Jake has never spoken to, wants answers. Liz Springall, the wife Jake left behind, wants to pretend it's not happening. Jimmy Fielding, the policeman whose partner was killed, and the boyfriend of Liz Springall, wants to finally feel a sense of resolution.
