Isaac Valencia is homeless. Both his parents were killed in a mysterious fire, which was never solved even with a supposedly "thorough" investigation (It was a 24 hour investigation which was just a basic look around to see what caused the fire, and after no answer they concluded it to be a double suicide).
Isaac was 14 during the deaths of his parents, and now he is 16, and is learning more things about it. How law enforcement knows more about it being a double suicide, how his bloodline is tangled in it, and how now his life is in danger.
Along with him is a sisterly figure names Yasmin. She herself is mysterious but her care for Isaac is real.
