All of the soul reapers even his closest friends (Rukia and Renji) try to keep the hollow king a myth by hidding it from ichigo. It's a boy x boy so if you don't like it don't read it. However, I found an alternative ending on Fanfiction.net written by a user called "NintenDolphin", in fact, all rights to this fic belong to him, sadly he deleted it sometime in September or October 2021.
