Sergei glared at her.
"Are you falling in love with Romanescu?"
"No. You should know me better than that. It's just that since he assaulted me that first night, he hasn't tried to hurt me in any way."
"Not physically maybe, but he knows that if he hurts me, that hurt will be transferred to you. I know he intends to kill me and I know that he won't make it easy for me. We have to kill him first."
"I don't know, my love."
