"No. You should know me better than that. It's just that since he assaulted me that first night, he hasn't tried to hurt me in any way."
"Not physically maybe, but he knows that if he hurts me, that hurt will be transferred to you. I know he intends to kill me and I know that he won't make it easy for me. We have to kill him first."
"I don't know, my love."
Stefan might be a monster but she didn't want him dead. She just wanted him to leave her alone. All he had to do was to free her and she would never have to see him again. She would move in with Sergei.
