Perhaps Elizabeth Greenwood wasn't a lucky girl, with a dead mother at seventeen, an amputated arm, and no money to deal with it, but when she stumbles into the grip of the Princess of what is supposed to be a deserted kingdom while trying to pay her debts, all she knows about herself, her mother, and her life is ripped to shreds. However, that doesn't mean the world she enters into is one without falsities either, or that she will remain unlucky forever. Side note: I wrote this a long time ago, and though I still kinda like the story, the writing is trash, but if you want to read, go ahead.

"She looks into my eyes, and I'm still trying to understand the changes in her features." ******* "Alexandra Louise has always yearned for a simple, normal life, but reality constantly challenges her dreams. Juggling odd jobs and financial struggles, she fights to build a better future while keeping her head above water. Just when Alexandra thinks she has it all figured out, fate throws her a curveball-a chance to choose between what she wants and who she wants. But choosing between two people was never part of her plan. As if things weren't complicated enough, the past itself resurfaces-one she didn't even know existed. Faced with buried secrets and unexpected truths, Alexandra must confront the shadows of her past while holding on to the life she desperately wants. In a world where the past and present collide, can she find the strength to choose the path that leads to her own happiness?" ******* "So... This is the new version of the book. I didn't change the story itself, but I did revise a few chapters-like the first encounter and how the characters met. Actually, I ended up reworking quite a bit! I put a lot of effort into this one, and I'm happy to say I finally completed the book, after unpublishing it many years ago 😆 I really hope you enjoy it, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.
