When Madeline Harper's parents divorced her dad (Carl), who then took custody of Nathaniel her little brother. Her mom (Karen) married Jerry her close coworker, 2 months later in a last minute wedding in Las Vegas.
Karen then became pregnant and not so surprisingly gave birth to one Lilian Rose 8 1/2 months later. Of course right before she knew of the fetus growing in her mother she got a large breed mix named Ash. She took alot of convincing to be allowed in the house.
Then her dad died and 2 members were added, her brother and his cat, Charles. Typical.
