After the androids demanded freedom and got it, people of Detroit have to get used to seeing more than what's normal. Hank and Connor decided after everything, that they would stay in DPD. so, what's next for them?
•This is not Hank × Connor, for those searching for that. this story revolves around a father/son relationship.
•Yes, I may focus on other characters, change a few things, but this is my book. if you do not enjoy this or you find it rather offensive; please, leave if you may.
•I thoroughly hope you enjoy my thoughts, my interests, and importantly, this whole book and what unfolds with it. Thank you.
Moving to Detroit had been good for Frankie. She'd managed to get her dream job, working with a partner who had been an idol of hers since she'd first heard his name whispered in the hallways... even if it had been laced with pity for a loss no parent should ever have to live with. A man who more often than not finds himself trying to pull her back from recklessness and encouraging her to think a little more before rushing into things. The only thing that had really taken some getting used to was the sheer amount of androids; the fact that despite how human they looked, some people could treat them with such disrespect, was a baffling thing for her.
Soon, however, she finds herself working with an android: Connor. As the cases pile up and Frankie tries to combat the hostility that Hank throws Connor's way, things in the wider world appear to be getting worse. An android uprising seems to be on the horizon, and Frankie needs to figure out where exactly she stands as battle lines are drawn up. Are androids another form of intelligent life - as Oskar's group chats seem to be arguing - or are they simply machines with errant code that need to be shut down to protect people?
