I was breathing harder with each passing second and I was fighting to keep my eyes open. My chest started to hurt. The man caught me and snuggled me to his chest. For the first time after so long, I felt safe. I felt like no one can hurt me, as long as I was with him. Just before everything went blank I felt someone kissing my temple. Without thinking, he reached and grasped her arm, gently. He tugged her towards him, demanding her attention back on him.
