In the beginning, God said, "Let there be light!" and now it could all end up in darkness. As humanity gives in to the darkness within them, the doors to Hell crack open, ever wider. Lucifer sits upon his throne in his new stronghold above the surface and awaits God's final challenge, having planned for just about everything God could use against him, defiant in his belief that he will never again rule the scorching pits below.

Lucifer's only weakness is the crippling pride that caused him to fall in the first place, it blinds him to the seven human women that have the power to defeat him. The marked ones, alone, have the power to remind Lucifer of his rightful place. However, Lucifer is not the only being unaware of their powers, as the young women themselves know nothing of their gifts. So, since Eve helped place humanity on the path to self-destruction, it will take seven of her female descendants and their angelic guardians to take them off of it.

After all, God is nothing, if not a fan of irony.

In the distance, a tall figure stood with pride watching his chaos morph into victory, there was nothing left for him to do but watch his enemies perish in the flames. . . ---------- It's the fight they have all waited for their entire lives. The New Generation is ready to defend their family, their friends, and their world from Itri who will all but destroy it if he gets the chance. They know their parent's stories were the start of a battle, but they are here to win the war, as one, as a team. They are meant to work together to defeat their enemy. Ten people united by the most unlikely circumstances, five daughters whose futures are predetermined, and only one chance to make things right. How will you save an entire universe if you can't even save yourself? You can't hope to win if you're already destined to lose. . . but then again, you can't win at all unless hope is present and that's what matters most. ********** An Aeterian Story- Final Book

In fact, it was sadly her purpose. Like most teenagers who have lost someone, Lucy fell into a less than preferred lifestyle. She had her troubles, like everyone else. But her problems were bigger than she thought, and led to a lot more anguish than she would have liked. See, living under the shadow of great expectations leaves a strain on your self-esteem. Going through a massive revelation could ruin your life and test your limits. The burning pain of sacrifice, loss and death should kill her. The gods saw something in Lucy for a reason, one she just needs to find through a tortuous journey with a bit of clawing, biting and changing.
