》》

Bailey Alexander was a simple girl. Preferred to blend in rather than stand out; no one really noticed her much. All that went out the window after her mother died during the summer break. It was a horrendous way to start her junior year of high school. Her looks weren't attended to, her grades suffered and she lost the majority of her friends.

A boy saw her suffering and couldn't resist taking the chance to enter the whirlwind that is her life. He felt the pain that she did and had empathy towards her; he too had dealt with the same issues she did and couldn't watch her suffer all alone. He doesn't know it, but he fights feelings that he develops for her. His name is Peter Parker.

This is book one of my Peter Parker Series. The story takes place after 'Spider-Man Homecoming' and will continue with book two in tragedy of 'Infinity War'. Indefinite books could continue with 'Avengers 4' and 'Spider-Man Far From Home'.

The Weight of Grief by Kale_Kabbage

It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured. The monster having grown too big, and without any support left to hold him up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it. Tony was doing pretty good. Aside from having died, he was doing pretty good. Resurrected from the dead, check. Thanos dead, check. Wife and daughter thriving, check. He'd never expected to get his life back, that was for sure. He was thankful for the second chance. Unfortunately, Tony was quick to discover that the kid had all but lost his own life. It felt like a knife slowly twisting into his chest every time he saw the kid: in agony. Now Tony wasn't exactly the poster-child for a good emotional support figure, but he wasn't about to sit back and let this continue. No matter how hard the kid fought him, no matter how much resistance he was met with, Tony would help the kid. Still, he couldn't help the fear that laced his blood. Tony couldn't help but question whether he would be able to save Peter from the weight of grief. **NO Starker** Triggers Warnings: Substance Use/Abuse Depressive and/or Suicidal Thoughts/Mentions Rape Threats/Mentions Descriptive Blood/Minimal Gore Some Self-Harm Coarse Language Mental Illness (various) This is a heavier story, so please don't read if you're not comfortable with any of the above triggers. 53 parts Complete

Nora Reynolds didn't ask anyone to save her. And yet, Tony Stark seems to be intent on doing so anyways, becoming her legal guardian after her father dies in the middle of a terrorist attack (a death caused by one of Spiderman's mistakes) and taking her to live with him in the middle of New York. Her new life reminds her of the Cinderella story that she and her friend Eden used to dream about, but she had never pictured it happening like this- with the news calling her THE ONE WHO WALKED AWAY, and the nightmares, and the only person she can really talk to being Tony's dorky intern Peter, who she spends quite a lot of time with. Nora tries her best to navigate her new school and her new feelings for Peter, even with the continued mixed feelings she has toward Spiderman (guilt, blame, gratitutude) and the new group that seems intent on taking down the avengers, one member at a time, and doesn't mind taking her with them. Everything you recognize was created by Marvel. This is a fanfiction.
