Haidee was on a much needed vacation. After a terrifying three weeks being held hostage by her ex boyfriend and shot as she escaped, her father, a wealthy business consultant for the Government, had put her in a hotel for two weeks with her best friend, Grace, to relax and recuperate. Her father had hired a penthouse at the world famous, Promenade hotel and had bought them front row tickets to see Haidee's favourite band One Direction. Although Haidee knew she'd miss her boyfriend, Blair, both herself and Grace were looking forward to a fortnight of relaxation and laying low. It had been hard for Haidee as the kidnapping had led to unwanted fame and with the invention of camera phones everyone was a potential paparazzi. Her dad, worrying that she spent too much time indoors trying to avoid photographers called Grace and organised the vacation for the girls.
