A young girl lives in the late 1800s, she lives with her abusive father who blames her for the death of her mother, who died from child birth. She has to survive life with her father as things take a turn for the worst. Secrets are exposed, creatures are coming from every direction, and the most shocking thing the young girl will find out. (Some ideas are inspired from Black Butler, Supernatural, etc.)

Dark.. that's the only way to describe this book.. well, the most powerful way. There's also romance, suspense, war and comedy.. you never know, your new family could be comprised of an insane casino manager, a buff but stupid bouncer, a card dealer with anger issues and a bartender who's a bookworm.. you could get up to so much.. and maybe you could find out, light isn't always good..
