“What’s your’ brand?” Her voice is scratchy and hard to hear. “What’s your’ brand?!”
“I have no brand.” My voice is almost as hoarse.
“You’re a liar! I know you have a brand and you will tell me what it is or I will show myself.” I feel her long fingers nails sting my shoulder when she grips my shirt. The worn down fabric tares when she rips the sleeve downward.
