Her Name

An unnamed narator's friend introduces him to a girl he kidnapped 12 years ago. She's now a 17 year old slave who pleases her master. But even slaves have their limits and she's ready to stand up. The narator just happens to be in the way.

I've uploaded this on Figment that estimates how long it will take to read, and it is only five minutes. But I can promise you that these five minutes will not be a waste. This is an intense drama that does not sugar coat the harsh reality of kidnap and rape but does present the disturbing concept tastefully. Some readers have described this story as "powerful", "disturbing", "real", and "unique." It was also a finalist in a contest against hundreds of other works.
