Year 2228, Earth was finally abandoned by humanity. Its surface can no longer contain life. It wasn't war that destroyed our mother planet. But peace. Overpopulation has rendered us with too much material needs that we've gone too far.
The Exodus began, with thousands of fleet scattered in the cosmos. Along with the discovery of a powerful impulse that can penetrate space itself, called Blink.
Blink was used to carry messages no matter the distance into each of the human fleets in the blink of an eye. Scientist also studied it to learn how to bend space.
With billions of people in their hibernation pods. The travel to their destination will take thousands of years. A company thought of creating a virtual reality where people can spend their time while in suspended animation.

The Humans would create objects that would collect Magic and become Artifacts. These artifacts have the power to wreak havoc on the entire universe if in the wrong hands. A group of Magicians banded together to collect these Artifacts and store them. Whenever the universe was in danger, a new team would form to become powerful Magicians and save the world. They are... In our world, We have a simple life, To people go to school, working on their jobs and having a company and so on and so forth. And the evolution of our planet earth kept on evolving.....but...have you ever wondered? When you where a kid you always thought that there's superheroes in our world that can fly and shoot lasers out of they're eyes. But that's just a fictional. Heck monsters and Giants are nothing but folklore and story's, They're just made up. There is no such thing as a zombie, ghost or even flowers that can talk or trolls walking around in the dark woods. Or even mythical creatures such as griffins, unicorns, mermaids, dragons ect. They aren't real, they are just stories and fantasy and nothing else....they are nothing else but a myth. But....What if.. What if...it wasn't? But instead it came from another world. And that world is what you have dreamed off, and not just one... millions of different world's and different possibility, a cartoonish world to dragon's and wizards. Or just straight up similar to our planet but without the letter H. These are called.... Dimensions. In the not so far future, a special type of computer is invented. However, this computer isn't like others. It doesn't require a monitor, no mouse, no tower to operate. The only thing this computer needs, is your brain. This computer is a microchip called the Atomiton, a device that acts as a personal computer inside your head, allowing you to work on projects, search the internet, monitor your heart rate, and even play video games. These games belong to the genre of games dubbed VR (Virtual Reality). In the year 2060, a college emerges in the north eastern region of Iceland. This is the Global Educational Online Virtual Reality University (GEOVRU for short). It is easily the most expensive college in the world, costing $73, 456 tuition alone, not counting for even room and board. Now, more than eleven years later, a boy named under the alias of Caedes is attending his third year at GEOVRU college. As he thinks over his life and what he wants to do with it, he struggles with his past, and all the loss he has suffered over the past two years. Chronicles of Magic: A VRMMORPG Story
If you like things such as Overloard, SAO, or Reincarnated as a Slime, then this might be right up your alley. If you like stories where you follow the antagonist, this definitely is up your alley. The first part of this is a condensed version of half the events of how Sky began to gain power. The next part (starting at MC Meets MC) will be the isekai! Of course there's an isekai and will contain the meat of the story for awhile and takes on a new perspective through Lyra. I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" When I look at my status, I'm not neither a mage that cast magic nor a swordsman that wields a sword, instead.... I'm a puppeteer!
