Elizabeth Caplan, a long time paranormal enthusiast and investigator has made it her life's mission to explain the unknown and educate others along the way. Daniel Hayes, a supernatural hunter, knows very well what is out there and has a very different agenda. Shoot first and don't ask questions.

Things don't go as planned on a routine investigation and Elizabeth finds herself face to face with the things nightmares are made of, leaving Daniel to be her unwilling savior. Trying to repay her debt Elizabeth offers to help him. Despite his first instincts Daniel agrees, finding Elizabeth knows more than meets the eye.
