I thought about making it about an original character but in the end went for the Male Reader insert, tho I plan to call the protagonist by the Character Username from Yggdrasil starting from Chapter II onward, I did this to appeal to both people who enjoy Reader Inserts and people who dont care for it, meaning it is essentially a Male Reader insert but I won't refer to the character as Y/N nor Address the Reader directly by saying "Your POV" after the second chapter of the story. (Y/N) made his character using a feature called gene combiner so his ingame character is the son of Momonga and Albedo. 8 years later and thousands of in-game hours and thousands of dungeon raids later the servers of Yggdrasil are closing. Momonga and his son have decided to spend the last hours of the game online and wait for the servers to shut down. After all both the father and son have fond memories of their time in Yggdrasil.
