Valerie Roux doesn't remember her parents. She never knew them. She's lived in Mrs. Holbrook's Home for Homeless Girls in Oregon her entire life. Until a stranger comes to tell her that she inherited a large estate on the remote island of Widow's Peak. Suddenly, Valerie is thrown into a world of strange people, unexplainable events, and a society filled with secrets. But, what if Widow's Peak wasn't just hiding a few swept under the rug secrets? What if something inhuman lurked beneath the waves, in the sky, or among the trees? The part that scares Violet the most, though, is what if she has a closer connection to it than she ever knew?

A vampire dark fantasy novel. - On a Summer night girl's night, five friends have a party and camp out back of the big Five-Story Mansion located in a secluded forest where there are only three neighbors nearby. Rosalie's mother is a lawyer and her father is a person who looks at stars. She was thankful to have a house like that. As Rosalie and her friends circled around sitting in camping chairs next to the huge fancy RV her father sat outback next to the river she saw a shooting star had fallen from the milky way and landed into the river. Everyone was shocked and scared. Was it an Alien? Or something more sinister and dangerous? Or was it nothing to be afraid of? This would be a story she would tell everyone she knew in her family about after camping in the huge forbidden forest outside her Mansion. Rosalie got a closer look at the star to see the star had turned into a gemstone necklace. Her friends let her keep it. What she didn't know was that the necklace had special extraordinary powers and other supernatural creatures are after the gemstone necklace. Rosalie has a job as a stay at home writer and is only twenty-four years old and lives with her parents and some animals. She doesn't know that having this special Necklace means that there is a supernatural war between two Worlds. Can she win this fight or will she die trying to save humankind from extinction?
