During Captain America: Civil War, while Team Stark is recruiting Spiderman to join their team, Team Cap are also looking for a new recruit. Then teenager Anastasia Garcia-Williams comes into the light as Phoenix, the latest Avenger with elemental fire powers.
After having a rough childhood, Ana has struggled with maintaining her anger issues, which when spiral out of control can turn her into Phoenix - quite literally the girl on fire.....
Growing up, Ana has had to hide her fire powers and after coming to the rescue of a damsel in distress, finds her powers have made a grave accident. Haunted after what she has done, it seems her prayers have been answered when Captain America wishes for her to join his team. Could this be a stroke of luck? Or could this blaze of opportunity turn to ash? Read on to find out!
