The series of killings on the streets of Manchester was becoming a worry for the local police. The killings, which followed a ritualistic pattern and depicted proper planning, precision and all bore one particular message in the end after the killer places himself in the middle of the pentagram and commits suicide, was the most difficult challenge a man in the frame of Terris Nigel would come to have.
Terris Nigel, having being a consultant for the Manchester Police Department, making foes than friends in the process, as a result of his ability to rely on his wits, intellects, and the penchant to pick out things others dared not to see, would find himself at the end of what seemed to be targeted killings meant to challenge him as well as punish him for his past sins; the sins which he had not shared with anyone over the course of time and which he had thought he never would.
In a twist of fate and hearty fury, combining the need to work with the one person he hated in the world, as well as those who hated him for who he was, his brother, as well as the Police department respectively, Terris Nigel would have to find the killers and in hopes find them before they kill the one woman he had never come to love after finding out she was the next target on the customary note the last killer left behind.
Can Terris Nigel come to a compromise to work with his brother and the Police Department to save the love of his life? Can he avoid the demons coming to haunt him from his past as well as the betrayals he is sure to face in the future?
Can Terris Nigel save himself from the crimes of his past?
