Fanfiction
Several years before his current life, Raymond Seraph had escaped an unknown institution thanks to the sacrifice of his fellow test subjects. Now roaming free amongst the world, he goes and learns more and more about the results of the experiments he's burdened with, and only one objective is clear whenever the moon rises: feed the beast. The dark furred, red-eyed, bipedal wolf creature he transforms into at the hour of moonrise MUST be fed, and the prey matters not. There's no controlling it, no calming it; just neverending hunger and fury embodied in an incarnation of Raymond's deep anger and regret. Turns out something else is inside him, too. Something that is considered a gift made by God, an omen to balance the burden, and it's this very gift that attracts him so much attention, for better and for worse.

Werewolves just can't survive in the modern world anymore. They've lived beside us for thousands of years, inhabitating nearby forests, most isolated from humans apart from the rare unfortunates that wander too close to their dens. But despite that distance, they're always eventually found out and killed off. Over the years more and more packs have been slaughtered by humans. Vincent Stone's pack is the most recent casualty. The only survivor, Vince escapes and hides in desperate, empty desolation, waiting for humans to discover and kill hum, sure that he is the last of his kind in existance. Until something else finds him first. Vincent is about to face the conflicts of his life that will force him to answer the question of what exactly it mean to be a monster, and what it means to be human.
