"My smart mouth always gets me in trouble, and if it's not my mouth, it's my facial expressions. Ask the loser standing beside me"

"You sir are the human definition of period cramps my friend"

"Sorry babe, but unlike you, I'm not a doorknob where everyone gets a turn. I'm more of a casino where only the lucky ones hit the jackpot"

When unfazed, smart-mouthed tatoo artist Hennessy Viant decides to do her last year of school instead of online courses with a little push from her Uncle/Boss with her older then by 12 minutes twin brother who makes it clear between them every day....

She agrees. But not willingly, or it's either tattooing cliche things for the rest of her life. And theirs nothing more irritating than tattooing a lovers name on skin. Why leave something permanent when "love" doesn't last forever.

Hennessy also known as "Buttercup" by her 4 year old little brother Harry, who she raises with her older brother Hale in a comfy studio apartment that her uncle owns. Towards strangers she's outlooked as a quiet rebel, she wasn't loud in your face unless you made her to be, but she had a mind of her own.

Observant. Reserved. Focused. Fearless. Private. Doesn't say boo. Siah Thorin is all the above, he has an unapproachable aura that most normal people find intimidating, in which he found comfort in. He was shit out of luck when Hennessy Viant is more amused by his 'stay in your own circle' vibe.

Warning: This novel contains a take-no-shit female. Who will threaten you and tattoo your psycho ex partner on your forehead. A male who's observant and can't seem to take his eyes off her.
