  Ian hurt so bad after the wedding. He felt like his heart had physically broken and there was a constant pain in his chest. Of course he knew that Mickey probably had to do that to stop his dad from killing him but still... 
  He started to think about all the  weird little mannerisms he had picked up recently and God did he hope that he was wrong about what it was. She lived her life as if it was normal and everything was okay. But in reality, that was never the case, She was struggling. Her life wasn't as easy as she tried to make it seem. She went to school, pretending to be happy all the time so her friends didn't become suspicious. And then she went home, to watch her 'father' throw his life away as he shot up in his arm. She hated seeing him locking himself in the bathroom only to come out ten minutes later, high out of his mind. He scared her; He did weird things when he was like that. From walking into her room and just staring around and then leaving without saying a word, to yelling at her and throwing whatever was in arms reach at her. She was suffering, but she still tried to make herself look like she was okay. Nobody suspected anything odd going on in her life. Afterall, she was Alexis Deaken, Everyone believed her life was perfect. They evyed her, they believed she had everything. Little did they know that the second she left that school building everyday she was going home to something unimaginable.

Ian really didn't know what was wrong with him, he had started feeling weird before his little sleepover with Mickey, too tired, ill at the slightest smells. He knew that thirty percent of the male population were carriers but it never dawned on him that he may be in that minority until Lip made a joke one day.

Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it. To make matters worse, it came with a minor side effect: a disease called Gold fever. In other words, people started to turn into gold. Over the course of a single day, Phoenix becomes the most hated person in the world. As the economy collapses around them, only three of his friends are willing to stay by his side. Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.
