Este será libro de Poesía, en el que escribo sobre la libertad, el sentido de la vida, el paso del tiempo, la sociedad (critica social), el amor, la pasión... En definitiva de los temas los cuales como seres humanos, nos hacen sentir, emocionar-nos, reír, llorar, etc. Porque como decía un gran escritor, la raza humana está llena de pasión.

Universal Warfare
Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.Concluida

"It is the enemy who can truly teach us to practice the virtues of compassion and tolerance." -Dalai Lama A confusing turn of events surrounding a seeming internet scam leads to you inheriting an impressive house and a considerable sum of money from a distant relative. Before long, you are living in your new house in Beach City. This seems at first to be a delightful happening, but making friends in your new home turns out to be a more difficult task than you had imagined, and you are left feeling very lonely... until a surprise encounter with someone who shouldn't be up and about changes your life forever. I will attempt not to specify the gender of the reader's character, though I will use male pronouns if I do (before anyone complains, most such stories assume the reader to be female). I apologize if the story is boring or slow-paced - it is written as I would act, and I am not really energetic, violent, or extroverted. Do not anticipate any racy content beyond possibly some wordplay and innuendo, if that. I apologize if there are massive delays between chapters; this is not a sign of me giving up on the story, it will just be because I am frequently depressed and extremely lazy.Concluida

The Gifts of Mortality
The gods have no pity for humans and their impermanence. Why would they care for lives measured in years, when time marches into millennia for them? The immortals stay in their city. The humans remain in their parts of the world. That is until a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death, forcing her to kill their enemies and increase their power. All immortals keep their backs turned on humanity. Except Samil, the God of Festivals and the Arts. Samil knows he isn't very powerful among his kind. Or important. Or confident. Yet, when he learns that the humans are desperate, he chooses to do a deceptively simple thing: Help them. ___________________________________ @Voyageavecmoi was kind enough to write this review of my book and she described it 100x better than I ever could lol. With her permission, I'm posting it below. Also, check out her book "Flight Risk." It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.Concluida
