Mei and Yuzu were friends growing up. They have known each other since they were 2 years old and they are inseparable and they eventually fell in love with each other during their high school years. But it all came crashing down when the Aihara family announced Yuzu's engagement to Mei's twin brother, Toby, at a corporate party. For Mei, everything collapsed and to recuperate from her heartbreak, she moved away from Yuzu to study.
