PS: Just a rough idea on the story, this stemmed from one of my nightmares I had back when I was in my 20s. Just kinda had this dream and the protagonist in my nightmare, not sure whether he did managed to do anything. Woke up with a start and never got back to this nightmare anymore despite my repeated attempted tries at night. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is.
