All of a sudden it's like my brain decides to quit thinking and before I know it my lips are pressed against his. He tenses for a minute before he kisses me back, and I understand now why humans do this. The feeling of his lips pressed against mine makes me forget that I came here by mistake, that he's a demon and I'm an angel, that heaven, earth, and everything in between are against this happening.

I could hear screams but could not make out what was being said.
