In Hyrule, when a child dies they have a chance to be reborn as a Korok and finish living their childhood.  When Link travels to the Korok Forest in BoTW he has a chance to meet some of these children of the forest. This portfolio booklet includes pictures of what these Koroks looked like when they were alive, as well as includes some extra info about the kid's personalities.

Calamity Ganon has been defeated. All is well in Hyrule and it would seem that Link and Zelda's troubles are finally over. However, not all is as it seems. With the Kingdom being left so long without a monarch, will all of Hyrule unite under one banner once again? If you haven't read the prequel of this story, I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get. confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. After sleeping for 100 years, Link seems to have lost all of his memories, especially the memories of his failure to protect those that he loved. of course, All rights to any known part of the game go to Nintendo please Nintendo, do not strike me down before I finish this series.

A story which both Zelda fans and people who don't even know what Nintendo is can enjoy. It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location. Prince Link fears he can never live up to his mother's expectations. Zelda has just been knighted into the Royal Guard. When Link unwittingly unleashes a horror upon Hyrule, Zelda must protect this foolish prince and help him defeat the impending evil that is lurking in Hyrule. But a now grown-up Zelda stood, well sat, collapsed on the ground of a Neculdian field with the man she loved bleeding out in her arms. There had never been a Zelda who'd failed, a Link who allowed darkness to reign, but Hyrule had fallen dead. The fight had been lost. At the scream of the scared sword, Zelda was alone. Scared, injured, pregnant... alone. But she was the final descendant of Hylia. She had to fight on, even if alone. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! There will be a sequel. Contains spoilers. I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS OR ANYTHING/MONOLOGUE THAT HAPPENED IN THE GAME, it belongs to Nintendo.
