Until people started meddling, there was no time. It could be both day and night. Benjamin Franklin could go out and have a coffee with Jimmy Carter. People had no concept of first, next, and then. You couldn’t arrive late or early and only could be on time. Fifty people all over the world had these visions of time actually moving sequentially and of time itself. These became the first Keepers of Time and enlisted the help of geniuses around the world to set time right. When those inventors finished the prototype of the first Time Mover, all there was to do was to jump in. Nearly all the Keepers of Time perished in the opening of the rift of time save for six wise people who furthered time and nudged it in the order they envisioned; jumping from event to event to slowly shape the directionless time they made. Nearly a thousand years after the Revolution of Time, the Keepers of Time have recruited new and ambitious employees to Jump through time and record what have changed. Ashley is one of them. A quirky, panicky girl who is best friends with the rules and behaving. She’s still a Scribe of Time, after her big screwup, but as an unconscious kiss- up and and follows directions to the letter. What happens when a certain someone sees her jumping? Pandamonium ensues.

Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in.
