Samantha Jones is torn. Her dad just ran off on Sam and her depressed mom. Together they move to a new town for a new life, a new life without heartbreak. Sam and her mom never speak of her father but Sam's mom still sleeps with her dad's old sweatshirt. Seeking a distraction, she finds it in beautiful Micheal Hale. Just when the sun seems a little brighter, Sam is plagued by dreams of a shadow. Overtime, small things like Sam tripping on air turns into her almost dying. Why is this happening to Sam and who is the shadow Sam keeps seeing?

The pink hedgehog named Amy Rose had always been in love with the blue hedgehog named Sonic ever since Amy first laid eyes on him when they were kids. When they're now teens Amy had finally realized that Sonic would never accept her love and be her boyfriend, which would probably never happen on the actual Sonic series. After that, her heart had fallen in yet another hedgehog named Shadow. He has a toddler bat daughter named Shannon who he adopted when he found her in a basket as only an infant. Shannon was now in training to learn how to fly which Shadow was teaching her and Amy decided that he would help her out. As they did, they started to fall in love each other. But not all couples come together that easily as a certain person would try to end that chance by trying to take Shannon from Shadow at all costs. Who is that someone. She meets a dark hedgehog who lives in the forest all alone in a cabin and he knows just how to help her. There is just one problem. He has some pretty big secrets, and with Amy around, they just might be revealed. Amy will have to make some pretty big choices. Family, or Love? Imprisonment, or Freedom? Angela Bales is finally moving on with her life. She is finally over her ex-boyfriend, and she's even started making the right decisions, and even her future seems somehow bright. But her journey from the dark place is far from over. Angela simply doesn't know that it is only the beginning and maybe the path would lead her even deeper into the darkness, but not that kind of darkness she thought of. By trying to put her life in order, she only messes up things more. Weird coincidences bring her from one point to another. She started having strange dreams. Some people on the street look at her a funny way. And to add to those problems, she doesn't know where she belongs and with whom. Her head tells her one thing, but her heart tells her otherwise. Her life is simply a mess. Her dreams keep getting weirder and weirder that she started question her own sanity and speculate if any of her dreams are really dreams. Besides, after all strange occurences and déjà vu moments life around her goes on as if nothing ever happened. How is it even possible? Unless, of course she is connected to the other world in a very direct way.
