they're in high school and then suddenly they're not. to alyssa, it seems to flash as if the time between junior year and her first year of college took place within the span of a few hours.
but not to joey. to him, high school seemed to drag on for decades. the constant teasing at his first high school caused him to transfer. it didn't end at his new one but he had friends there that would defend him against the bullies' wrath.
joey would go on to great things but they would soon be brought together by friends and a college party where alyssa would finally meet the boy in the band.
