*************************** MAIN PLOT: Alexander wanted nothing to do with the politics of Shifters and humans but it was too late. Being a dragon shifter made him the largest predator and therefore the most suited candidate to play peace keeper. That plus he had promised an old friend to take the position. The only good thing about it was the discovery of the only blog he'd ever taken interest in EllieInDanger. Her life intrigued him, her opinions captivated him, not to mention she was the type of beutiful that made his heart lose pace. He barely had a presence in her community of fans but for some reason she chose to reply to him out of the sea of comments that fluttered her page. With each message they exchanged he learned more about her and the more he learned was the more his heart ached with worry. Something bout her situation just wasn't sitting right with him. Was Ellie actually in danger? Why wont she give him a straight answer when he asks? Instead she gives him hints and clues on how to find her. Mysteries he would try to solve but she'd never be there. Was this all a game or an actual rescue? Would he risk putting his company in danger for this one girl who could never give him a straight answer? **************************** WORLD BUILDING: Humans once believed themselves to be the only species in existence. That is until tragedy forces a wolf shifter to show his true form smack in the middle of the crowded city of manhattan. With his reveal came the reveal of his entire pack, backing him up. Soon after all the shifters in the borough started revealing themselves but it only ended there. The shifters of manhattan guaranteed that there were others scattered around the world but refusing to show themselves. No doubt watching to see if cohabitation between shifters and humans is actually possible. It's a shaky balance but with the pack in charge and Alexander, the biggest predator keeping everyone in line, it may just work out.

In a world dominated by werewolves, Odette leads a simple, human life until what was supposed to be the best day of her life, her wedding day, takes a nightmarish turn. Luca, a powerful world-leader and Alpha, claims her as his mate, which forces her into a desperate fight for her freedom. Now on the run, Odette encounters challenges that will test her wit and strength. Will she surrender to the relentless pursuit, or fight back? ~~~ I round the corner to see a group of freakishly-tall and handsome men. There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."
