ELISE- Elise is constantly worried and on edge. She never is quiet sure of anything, she even worries about the permanence of her friends. When her best friend Lauren's older sister, Kayla, suddenly discovers Elise as a person and not just Lauren's friend, Lauren doesn't like it at all. Maybe Elise is right to worry about her friendships?
LAUREN- Lauren has always been self-conscious of her artwork, especially with her older sister Kayla constantly winning awards and contributing to art shows. Then, Kayla seems to take over Lauren's best friend, Elise. Now she may lose her best friend as well as being in her sister's shadow.
KAYLA- Kayla is constantly trying to be unique, she doesn't want to stand in. At the same time, she's trying to impress the heartless ruffians she calls her friends. It seems, Kayla is constantly upsetting people to do so. Of course, one of the worst thing she could do is mess with her younger sister's timid best friend, Elise, which is just what she does.
